OLYMPIA — They made it … again.
And this time the Port Angeles girls basketball team won’t have to face elimination before heading to the state 4A tournament.
The Roughriders closed out Kentlake with a 17-3 run over the final five minutes Friday night at Olympia High School.
Port Angeles, which won 60-55, had lost its second-round West Central District 4A Tournament game the last two years.
Not this time.
