PORT ANGELES — It doesn’t happen very often that all the right ingredients come together to produce a real winner but this year’s Port Angeles High School boys golf team is exactly that rare occurrence.
“This is one of the strongest Rider teams in recent history and they have enjoyed many successes on and off the golf course during the recently completed season,” said coach Mark Mitrovich.
The Roughriders won six out of eight dual matches, claimed two invitational team titles and earned all-league academic honors in the classroom with a combined 3.09 grade-point-average.
