PORT ANGELES — Family and friends will gather in various places today to remember Frank Russo, a 14-year-old boy who died Saturday from a head injury sustained while skateboarding.
In addition to the formal services, a potluck that will include crisis counselors, balloon releases and a distribution of skateboarding stickers to put on Russo’s coffin are planned.
The memorial service, officiated by the Rev. Kurt Nagel, will be at 11 a.m. today at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 209 W. 11th St. in Port Angeles.
A graveside service will follow at Ocean View Cemetery, 3127 W. 18th St.
A reception will follow the graveside service in the O’Donnell Hall gymnasium of Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
