Port Angeles School District conducts first public forum tonight

PORT ANGELES — The public will have an opportunity to ask questions, make suggestions and voice concerns about possible school budget cuts during the first of four public forums tonight.

The forum begins at 7 p.m. in the Port Angeles School library, 304 E. Park Ave.

The Port Angeles School District Fiscal Advisory Committee presented 39 proposals to the School Board Monday night to cut between $500,000 and $1 million from the 2003-04 fiscal budget.
