PORT ANGELES — Twenty-five Stevens Middle School students were selected as Students of the Month for September and honored at a recent luncheon at the North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center.
The lunch was prepared by the center’s culinary arts students.
The seventh- and eighth-grade students were recognized by their teachers for showing personal responsibility in their work at school.
The following students received certificates:
Kaleb Baier, Madison Ballou, Emily Balser, Logan Beebe, Madison Belbin, Logan Blair, Ava Brenkman, Eden Critchfield, Alex Delgado, Anthony Francis, Nicholas Hillman, Daniel Hornack, Anton Kathol, Jason Kibe, Damian McDougall, Ashley Moyle, Kamron Noard, Sophia Orth, Levi Peabody, Jaeden Platt, Kaysey Roberts, Rylie Samples, Tarun Seera, Maizie Tucker and Geraldine Von Houck.
Six character traits, following the school’s PRIDE topics, will be celebrated at Stevens Middle School during the 2015-16 school year:

■ October: Respect.
■ November: Integrity.
■ January: Determination.
■ March: Excellence.
■ May: Teacher’s Choice.
