PORT ANGELES — Residents will get a chance Tuesday night to comment on the city’s proposed street plans and capital projects for the next six years.
The public hearing on what are officially called the Port Angeles 2003-2008 Capital Facilities Plan and Transportation Improvement Plan will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the council chambers at City Hall, 321 E. Fifth St.
The regular City Council meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
The agenda includes setting a public hearing on a YMCA petition to vacate a small alley west of Francis Street, awarding contracts for a floating cover for the Peabody Heights Reservoir, and a front-end loader for the compost facility.
The 2003-2008 capital plans include projects for wastewater, water, solid waste, lighting, parks, the fire and police departments, and general projects.
The 2003-2008 Transportation Improvement Plan includes street and bridge projects.
