Port Angeles city officials announced late Thursday that they have reached a tentative agreement with Northland Cable Television to continue to provide cable broadcast services.
The agreement has been forwarded to the city’s legal counsel and was not immediately available.
Public Works and Utilities Director Glenn A. Cutler said the agreement will be available for public review after attorneys complete their inspection.
Under the proposed agreement, Northland will be allowed to continue to use city rights of way, Cutler said. The company will also be allowed to provide broadband services to citizens, businesses and public agencies.
Broadband services could include Internet access.
