PORT ANGELES — Firefighters rescued two people from beneath City Pier early Thursday morning after a woman apparently fell over the pier railing and plunged into Port Angeles Harbor’s chilly waters.
The incident happened just after 1 a.m. when the woman, described as in her late teens or early 20s, leaned over the pier railing and fell into the water, Fire Marshal Ken Dubuc said Thursday.
