The one night of U.S. 101 pavement grinding on Lincoln Street was rescheduled to Wednesday, said Rick Rodlend, field supervisor for the state Department of Transportation’s Port Angeles office.
The pavement along Lincoln Street from Lauridsen Boulevard north to Ninth Street will be ground off and new pavement laid down. Work is expected to start at 8 p.m. and be finished by midnight .
Eastbound drivers wishing to detour can take Tumwater Truck Route — state Highway 117 — north to Marine Drive, and then east on First Street. Westbound drivers can take Race or Peabody streets north to Lauridsen Boulevard, then west to U.S. 101.
