PORT ANGELES — The new North Olympic Peninsula Visitor & Convention Bureau board has only met once and it’s already facing a potential personnel dispute.
Former Executive Director Rick Hert says the bureau owes him three months severance pay and health insurance coverage, as well as back pay for accrued vacation.
The bureau’s board of directors briefly discussed the issue Thursday.
It was the first meeting of the board since the bureau was reorganized last fall and Hert’s position was eliminated.
