PORT ANGELES — The historical downtown building housing the Lincoln Theatre is being sold to the movie theater’s operator, Sun Basin Theaters of Wenatchee.
The deal — which finally removes the threat that the theater might be closed — should be finalized in mid-October if all goes well, Sun Basin General Manager Brian Cook said.
“We will continue to provide the movie experience downtown,” Cook said Wednesday, confirming his company is looking forward to owning the building it has leased since 1975.
The details of the sale were not disclosed.
