PORT ANGELES — School officials may decide next week whether a Denver contractor will rebuild Jefferson Elementary School.
Unless a problem turns up in reference checks this week, the School Board is expected to award the contract to the low bidder, RAS Builders, at Monday’s regularly scheduled meeting.
The $4,189,475 bid from the Denver company, which has a regional office in the Seattle suburb of Issaquah, was $380,572 lower than the bid from Primo Construction Co. of Sequim.
Primo bid $4,570,047.
