SEQUIM — A Port Angeles woman was involved in one-vehicle rollover at Kitchen-Dick Road and U.S. Highway 101, according to a memo from the State Patrol.
A 1995 Ford Explorer driven by Tara E. DuPont, 49, was eastbound on U.S. Highway 101 at Kitchen-Dick Road at 8 a.m. Wednesday when the vehicle crossed into the median and rolled, the memo said.
The vehicle came to rest in the westbound lane.
The memo said that DuPont was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, but Harborview spokeswoman Barbara Clements wrote in a Wednesday morning email that DuPont was not in Harborview’s patient records system.
The cause of the wreck was listed as “wheels off roadway,” for which DuPont was cited, the memo stated.
DuPont was wearing a seatbelt and drugs or alcohol were not involved, according to the memo. The Explorer was destroyed and impounded.
