PORT HADLOCK — Environmentally friendly and automobile repair are two phrases rarely said in the same breath.
Yet Reto and Jana Filli built their six-bay automotive repair shop with recycling in mind.
Circle and Square Global Car Service in Port Hadlock recycles oil filters as well as oil, brake fluid, power steering fluid and Freon.
Their dedication to sustainable recycling earned the Fillis and the shop the Governor’s Award for Pollution Prevention and Sustainable Practices.
Gov. Gary Locke presented the award to Circle and Square on Tuesday.
