PORT HADLOCK — A 45-year-old disabled man was hospitalized in serious condition Thursday after being beaten in his home.
The injured man, whose name was not released, was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, were he remained Thursday night for observation.
Meanwhile, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a 20-year-old Port Hadlock man in connection with the assault, Undersheriff Ken Sukert said.
He declined to release the name.
According to Sukert, the man allegedly entered the home of the wheelchair-bound victim and struck him in the back of the head with an unknown object.
The attack occurred just before noon at the Garden Court Apartments, 61 Garden Court Road, Sukert said.
