A Port Hadlock man was charged with one count of armed bank robbery in federal court Thursday in connection with last week’s heist of a Bank of America branch.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Seattle said Robert Daniel Jones brandished a BB pistol on Aug. 3.
Jones, 53, was arrested in a Port Angeles bar on Wednesday morning after a photo taken by the bank’s security camera appeared in the Peninsula Daily News.
Jones was previously convicted of a bank robbery in King County, investigators said.
He was moved from Clallam County jail to a federal lockup in SeaTac on Thursday.
