The Port Ludlow Village Council will discuss the benefits and detriments of becoming a city when it meets today.
Residents are invited to attend the 9 a.m. meeting at the Bay Club, 201 Spinnaker Place.
The issue of incorporation has come up in the past, council President Carol Saber said.
“With so many new people in the community, it’s worthwhile to go through all of this again,” she said.
“It may look good in abstract. But it’s a much more difficult process with many more requirements under the growth management act in Washington than in other places.”
