PORT TOWNSEND — Final results showed that incumbent Leland O. Amundson defeated challenger Stan Kadesh for the Position 3 Port Ludlow Drainage District seat by 384 votes, or 58.6 percent, to 272 votes, or 41.4 percent.
The results of the Feb. 2 election were certified Wednesday by Jefferson County Auditor Donna Eldridge, who oversees elections, as well as county Commissioner David Sullivan and David Alvarez, county chief civil deputy prosecuting attorney.
The Jefferson County Auditor’s office elections division sent out 1,131 ballots to parcel owners during the first week of January.
The statistics are conveyed differently than the typical election.
