PORT TOWNSEND — The man suspected in the 1992 stabbing death of Allison Tornensis of Quilcene cannot change lawyers, Jefferson County Superior Court Judge Tom Majhan decided.
Former Quilcene resident Robert Froehlich is charged with second-degree murder for allegedly stabbing Tornensis to death in late July 1992.
The 15-year-old girl was reported missing July 27, 1992; she was last seen July 26, 1992, in downtown Quilcene. Her body was found Aug. 1 of that year in the Little Quilcene River.
Froehlich’s trial is set to begin Nov. 26.
