PORT TOWNSEND — Two tow truck company employees watched in horror as their boss was gunned down in cold blood at his shop on Rhody Drive.
In a document filed Wednesday in Jefferson County Superior Court, Randy Herb and Mark Sydnor of Smith’s Services recounted the harrowing experience as Frank M. “Skip” Smith Jr. was shot to death the day before.
A Utah man is being held on $1 million bond in connection with the shooting.
County Prosecuting Attorney Juelie Dalzell charged Ryan Neil Sorensen, 30, of Spanish Fork, Utah, with first-degree murder Wednesday in Jefferson County Superior Court for allegedly killing Smith.
In the supplemental incident report filed in court, Sydnor said he saw Sorensen walk into the business at 10675 Rhody Drive with a gun in each hand.
He described in detail how Sorensen came into the Smith’s Services office and told Smith: “You won’t laugh at me again.”
