PORT TOWNSEND — Once again, the Rhododendron Festival will feature people leisurely enjoying the sights and sounds of downtown Port Townsend while being pushed down Washington Street on a mattress past rows of screaming spectators.
The 68th Rhododendron Festival kicks off this weekend with arts and crafts events and a bicycle tour.
Activities begin Saturday with the Port Townsend Arts Guild’s Arts and Crafts Fair.
The event continues Sunday after the Rhody Bicycle Tour.
A complete schedule of Rhododendron Festival begins on Page 4 of Peninsula Spotlight.
