PORT TOWNSEND — An agreement has been reached with a Jefferson County dog owner to settle complaints with his neighbors in Glen Cove.
Neighbors of J.D. Rook, who lives off state Highway 20 in Glen Cove just outside the city limit, said the man’s dogs were roaming wild and not being cared for.
In addition, they said, Rook owning six dogs was a violation of county ordinances.
Rook last week surrendered three of the dogs to the county, Environmental Health Director Larry Fay said Monday.
