PORT TOWNSEND — A company hired to assess Port Townsend’s downtown parking will present strategies to ease congestion today.
Judith Gray of the Portland, Ore., firm Kittelson & Associates Inc. will meet with civic leaders and residents in two sessions.
The first is a city Parking Task Force meeting at 8:30 a.m. and the second is an informal gathering with residents at 4 p.m. Both meetings are in the Pope Marine Park Building, 100 Madison St.
As transportation planners specializing in parking designs, Gray and John D. Edwards put together three possible solutions to ease Port Townsend’s woes — especially during the summer months.
