PORT TOWNSEND — City Councilwoman Freida Fenn has been cleared of violating the council’s code of ethics.
A three-member board appointed to hear a complaint filed by former councilman Al Frank and residents Bryn and Leola Armstrong Thursday morning ruled in Fenn’s favor and urged the council to clarify the intent of the ethics code.
“I’m glad this has been resolved,” Fenn said after the ruling. “I think this board made a careful and thoughtful decision.”
Fenn said she was pleased the process is over.
“There’s plenty of city work to do,” Fenn said. “This will free up my time.”
