Port Townsend: Ferry cancellations this week

Washington State Ferries’ MV Quinault continues to be idled for two scheduled evening runs each day Tuesday through Thursday because of low tides and ebb currents between Port Townsend and Keystone.

But two extra runs will be added each night.

The 8:30 p.m. run from Port Townsend and 9:15 p.m. departure from Keystone will be canceled Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

An extra run from Port Townsend will depart at 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday, 9:25 p.m. on Wednesday and 9:55 p.m. on Thursday.

From Keystone, the Quinault will leave at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, 9:55 p.m. Wednesday and 10:25 p.m. Thursday.
