PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Film Festival appears to be maturing.
With event pass sales up about 30 percent over last year, film festival director Peter Simpson hopes more people are taking stock in what the event offers.
Total ticket sales for the fourth annual festival, which ran through this past weekend, aren’t available, Simpson said Monday, but the director said venues appeared to be packing in more people this year.
“I’m very gratified by the community response all the way through the year, it culminated in a very good festival,” he said.
“The weather was as perfect as one could ask.”
