PORT TOWNSEND — Effective fund raising abilities will be a key factor in deciding the next Centrum executive director.
But first, the arts organization’s board members say, they have to find an interim leader.
Carol N. Shiffman, who directed Centrum for 5½ years, resigned Sunday for “personal reasons.”
Her husband, Larry Harbison, left his post as Centrum’s arts director at the same time.
Both resignations were accepted Tuesday by the 18-person board. The resignations were effective immediately.
Board President Cindy Hill Finnie said Tuesday that a plan would be developed by the end of the week to find a new director.
