PORT TOWNSEND — Information on the investigation into the Aug. 4 Aldrich’s grocery fire will probably be made public near the end of October.
Three juveniles, two girls and a boy, are accused by the Port Townsend Police Department of starting the blaze.
The early morning fire destroyed the historic grocery at 940 Lawrence Street.
The completed report on the fire was turned over to the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney late. Tuesday afternoon, Prosecutor Juelie Dalzell said Thursday.
A number of things, mainly a time crunch, will keep the report sealed until around Oct. 20, she said.
