PORT TOWNSEND – The ferry run between Port Townsend and Keystone was down to one boat this weekend.
The MV Nisqually ferry, which was repaired overnight Thursday, was shuffled off Friday to the San Juan Island run to help cover for a ferry that crashed at Mukilteo.
That left only the MV Quinault, creating hour-and-a-half waits at the Port Townsend and Keystone terminals.
“At this point, it’s one boat indefinitely,” said Hadley Green, Washington State Ferries spokeswoman.
The schedule posted on the State Ferries Web site showed several runs had been canceled.
It was not known Saturday when the Port Townsend-Keystone route would be back up to a two-ferry run.
