Low tides are forcing cancellations this week on the Port Townsend to Kingston ferry run, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Tuesday’s 6:30 a.m. run from Port Townsend has been canceled; the 7:15 a.m. from Kingston will not occur.
On Wednesday, the 6:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. departures from Port Townsend have been canceled, as has the 7:15 a.m. run from Kingston. However, an extra Port Townsend run at 8:15 a.m. and Kingston run at 8:55 a.m. have been added.
On Thursday, the 8 a.m. departure from Port Townsend and the 8:45 a.m. run from Kingston have been canceled because of the low tides.
