PORT TOWNSEND — Washington State Ferries canceled all Keystone runs Wednesday because of electrical problems aboard the route’s sole vessel.
Passengers bound for the MV Nisqually were turned away as state Department of Transportation maintenance workers tried to isolate a problem involving the ferry’s voltage regulators, Ferries spokeswoman Susan Harris said.
More than 10 scheduled runs were canceled as a result of the malfunction.
Ferry officials said the Nisqually carries an estimated 300 vehicles each day during the winter.
The Nisqually was back in service at 7:15 p.m.
