PORT TOWNSEND — The Port of Port Townsend will spend at least $34,000 to upgrade the electrical system in the main building at Point Hudson.
The structure houses the Otter Crossing and Shanghai restaurants along with Dock Street Yachts, the Point Hudson Marina Room and an assortment of small offices.
Port commissioners unanimously approved the spending at a meeting Wednesday night in Chimacum.
Executive Director Larry Crockett said the repairs are an emergency expenditure following a series of power outages in the building about a month ago.
