PORT TOWNSEND — The Port of Port Townsend is seeking public input on future plans for its properties through its Web site, www.portofpt.com.
Jim Pivarnik, Port property manager, said the Internet site contains photographs of Port properties and development options for the next 20 years. It also allows comments to be submitted electronically, Pivarnik said.
“You’re not going to see plans, you’re going to see ideas,” Pivarnik said of what the Port calls its comprehensive scheme.
“We’re in the early stages of planning.”
In addition to the Small Boat Basin, the Port owns Point Hudson, Kah Tai Lagoon and the beach at Fort Worden State Park south of the Marine Science Center.
The Port also owns boat launches at Port Hadlock, Mats Mats Bay and Gardiner.
Jefferson County International Airport is on a separate master plan, Pivarnik said.
