PORT TOWNSEND — The 68th Rhododendron Festival is in full swing this weekend.
Set-ups for street events are nearly complete, even though most of the festivities don’t begin until the weekend.
The big daddy of events is the Rhododendron Festival Grand Parade.
The parade starts at 1 p.m. Saturday on Lawrence Street at the fire station.
The route goes east on Lawrence to Monroe Street, down Monroe to Water Street, and three blocks to Taylor Street.
Floats from around the Northwest, along with those with a local flair, will participate in the parade.
