Port Townsend roundabout taking shape

Port Townsend’s first roundabout takes shape at Sims Way and Howard street with the north and south sections paved Thursday.

Work on the roundabout, which has closed the Howard entrance to Port Townsend Business Park, is expected to be completed by April 2 or sooner.

Seton Construction is doing the streetscape and improvement work  contracted by the city of Port Townsend on Upper Sims between Howard and Thomas streets.

Traffic now runs right through the roundabout but will be directed around as work progresses.
