Port Townsend: Special dispatches from Japan

To readers of peninsuladailynews.com: Ten Port Townsend High School students are visiting Ichikawa, Japan, which will officially become Port Townsend’s sister city once documents are signed.

They first traveled to Honolulu, Hawaii, then on to Ichikawa where they arrived Friday morning and spent time at a resort before meeting their host families.

Dispatches of their visit will appear in the Peninsula Daily News until they depart Ichikawa on Nov. 18.
