PORT TOWNSEND — Of four City Council seats up for election in November, there might not be an incumbent in any of them afterward.
Two current holders of those seats — Joe Finnie and Al Youse — say they’re flat out of the running.
Finnie supports the idea of electing a majority of people in the center of the political spectrum.
But after six years on the council, he won’t be running alongside them.
Youse said last week that seeking office again is out of the question.
“I wish the city of Port Townsend and the people good luck,” he said.
“I’ll be fishing.”
Geoff Masci said he’s out, too, unless three “moderate and business-oriented” people choose to run with him.
Catharine Robinson says she’s split on whether to run again.
