PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Wearable Art Show’s two Saturday performances are sold out, so organizers are opening up the dress rehearsal at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St., at 7 p.m. Friday.
Admission is pay-what-you-can, said coordinator Debbi Steele, and proceeds will go to the annual show’s beneficiary, the Jefferson County Fund for Women and Girls.
This fourth annual Wearable Art Show is an elaborate runway production, spotlighting the original work of 41 designers from around the West. Seattle fashion designer Michael Cepress selected the participants.
They include Trisa Katsikapes and Hannah Middlestead of Port Angeles, Judy Danberg of Port Ludlow and Paula Lalish, aka Paula Pay la Renta, of Nordland.
The show’s Port Townsend artists include Amy Dahlberg, Natalia Duran Guevara, Heather Gale, Tamara Halligan, Christine Hulburt, Nonie Gaines, Margie McDonald, Aliina Lahti, Hana McAdam, Una McFaden, Teri Nomura, Galadriel Nichols, Annalise Rubida and Anna Moore, Natalia Robinson, Loran Scruggs, Joyce Wilkerson, Marsha Wiener and Samantha Smith.
