PORT ANGELES — South Lincoln Street between Third and Fifth streets has been closed in both directions due to rainfall, crew safety and road stability concerns on a sanitary sewer main repair, according to the city.
In a bulletin Thursday evening, the city said the street is expected to reopen Friday at 11 p.m.
All westbound traffic on U.S. Highway 101 will be detoured to the Tumwater Truck Route while all eastbound traffic will be detoured to Lauridsen Boulevard, Race Street and then back to Highway 101.
The city will release further updates as information becomes available.
