Falling trees knocked out power to about 15,000 customers in the Sequim area, and about 200 in Joyce, for several hours on Sunday.
The Sequim area customers lost power for about two hours after a tree fell on power lines near Marshall Road at about 4:50 a.m., said Dave Proebstel, chief engineer for the Clallam County Public Utilities District, in a written statement.
Electricity was cut to the Joyce customers after a tree fell into a power line at the Salt Creek RV Park at about 11:55 a.m. on Sunday, Proebstel said in the statement.
That knocked out power to Camp Hayden Road, Crescent Beach Road and some customers east of there.
Power was restored at 4:20 p.m. on Sunday.
