PORT ANGELES — Electrical power was restored to 358 customers at 8:10 p.m. after a power outage began at 7:15 p.m. today.
The outage was in the area of 15th and C streets, said Randy Brackett, deputy director of operations in the Port Angeles Public Works Department.
“A fuse and a piece of bad underground cable caused the outage,” he said.
Workers had to reset a substation before electrical power could be restored, he added.
Brackett did not know what reports of an explosion heard before the outage referred to.
