PORT ANGELES — Clallam County Public Utility District No. 1 has announced a scheduled power outage for customers west of Lake Crescent on Sunday, June 16.
The outage will begin at 12:01 a.m. and is scheduled to last 6 hours.
According to a press release, the outage is necessary to allow the Bonneville Power Administration to perform work on their transmission lines and substation.
PUD work crews plan to take advantage of the outage to conduct pole replacements.
Automated phone calls have been made to affected customers, the PUD asks that customers on the West End who have not received a call contact the district to update their contact information.
