Principal for the Day in Port Angeles

JEFFERSON SCHOOL first-grader Leilani Thomason looks at staff schedules with school Principal Joyce Mininger last week in Port Angeles.

Leilani was chosen as Principal for a Day by coming in first in fundraising at the school’s reading, running and jump roping triathalon Nov. 1.

In addition to sitting in as principal, the youngster was allowed to wear a funny wig to go along with Mininger’s.
