PORT ANGELES — Property taxes for Clallam and Jefferson counties are due on or before April 30.
Payments received after the due date will be subject to interest accrual and potential penalties if the payment continues to remain unpaid.
The Clallam County treasurer’s office lobby is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays to receive tax payments. The Jefferson County treasurer’s office is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
If mailed, payments must be postmarked by the due date; to ensure a timely postmark, ask the post office to hand stamp your envelope.
Payments can also be placed in the locked payment box in the circular drive at the Clallam County courthouse, 223 Fourth St. in Port Angeles., or the Jefferson County courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
Taxes may also be paid online at www.clallamcountywa.gov/treasurer or https://www.co.jefferson.wa.us/329/Treasurer; use the ‘Property Search’ option to locate and pay your taxes.
You will need your statement number or property ID and amount due.
