Quilcene fire chief dead of cancer

QUILCENE — Bob Wilson, Quilcene Fire District No. 2 fire chief since 1992 and Gardiner-Discovery Bay chief since 2007, has died after a battle with cancer.

Mr. Wilson died Thursday night.

A memorial service is tentatively scheduled for 5 p.m. next Friday at Quilcene High School, fire district officials said.
