SEQUIM — Peninsula Daily News columnist Pat Neal will join forces with Mick Dodge, reality TV personality, for an hourlong show on Sequim radio station KSQM 91.5 FM (on the Internet at www.ksqmfm.com) at noon today.
The noncommercial station said the two will unite behind the microphone for a “meeting of the minds.”
Today’s radio show is part of KSQM’s sixth annual “Precious Memories” celebration during which listeners can submit recorded music-related memories and have them aired on KSQM.
In addition to his column in the PDN every Wednesday, Neal, a steelhead and salmon fishing guide on West End rivers, hosts “The Pat Neal WildLife Radio Show” heard on KSQM on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. and Saturdays at 9 a.m.
Dodge, also known as “The Barefoot Sensei” and “the Barefoot Nomad,” is the subject of a weekly reality TV series, “The Legend of Mick Dodge,” on the National Geographic channel.
The show takes place largely in the Hoh Rain Forest south of Forks where Dodge is said to live, making camp in tree stumps or high in the forests canopy or amid the moss.
Neal has appeared in two episodes of the show, which was recently renewed for a third set of programs.
