SEQUIM — A Sequim woman was injured when the car she was driving was rear-ended by a pickup on U.S. Highway 101 east of Sequim on Sunday, the State Patrol said.
Lisa M. Keele was transported to Olympic Medical Center after the two-vehicle crash at Knapp Road, troopers said in a collision memo.
Her condition was not immediately available Monday.
Keele was driving eastbound in a 2014 Acura ILK when she slowed to make a left turn from the highway onto Knapp Road, the State Patrol said.
The Acura was struck by a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Steven M. Holmes, 37, of Port Angeles, troopers said.
Holmes was charged with failure to yield, the collision memo said.
Holmes and Keele were both wearing seat belts.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were involved, the State Patrol reported.
