PORT ANGELES — Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County will conduct a Community Education and Volunteer Training series from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays from Sept. 18 to Oct. 23.
The course will be held at Hospice House, 810 Albert St.
The 12-hour course reviews the history and philosophy behind hospice care, discusses attitudes toward death and dying, explores the grieving process and trains volunteers so they can provide services through VHOCC.
There is no charge for this training but space is limited so pre-registration is required.
