Lt. Comm. (Ret.) Doug Adams of the U.S. Navy served as the keynote speaker on Monday during the annual Memorial Day service at Captain Joseph House in Port Angeles. Adams, who now lives in Seattle, was at the same base in Afghanistan on May 29, 2011, when Capt. Joseph Schultz and others were killed.
