PORT ANGELES — State Rep. Jim Buck said he makes a point not to support anything he has not read or understood, and on Saturday he encouraged others to do the same.
His advice was in response to people at a town meeting in Port Angeles who said they feel disillusioned with their choices for elected officials and the current state of government.
“Please pay as much attention as you can to what’s going on,” Buck, R-Joyce, said at the close of the meeting.
About 40 people attended the afternoon meeting at the Clallam County Courthouse to voice their concerns about the Legislature and ask Buck questions.
On Friday and earlier in the day Saturday, Buck held similar town hall meetings in Port Townsend and Sequim, respectively.
